amanitiny

Cyklické peptidy získané z carpophores různých druhů hub. Jsou účinnými inhibitory RNA polymeráz ve většině eukaryotických druhů tím, že blokuje tvorbu mRNA a syntézu proteinů. Tyto peptidy jsou důležité při studiu transkripce. Alpha-Amanitin je hlavní toxin z druhů Amanitia phalloides, jedovatý při požití lidmi nebo zvířaty.
